Steve A. Cobb - Managing Director

Mr. Cobb joined CID in 2001 and has been an active investor in the consumer products, industrial products, and industrial services sectors and leads the team’s consumer products investment activities.

Mr. Cobb is a director of Club Colors, a leading provider of licensed collegiate apparel and corporate promotional products; Evriholder Products, a multi-channel manufacturer of functional housewares products; and SPS Commerce, a supply chain integration service provider. He is also active as a board observer of Ryan Herco Flow Solutions, a distributor of fluid control and filtration products to the microelectronics and biopharmaceutical industries. He previously served as a director of Hetsco, and as an observer to FLA Orthopedics, Maxon Corporation, Precision Parts International, and the Victor Oolitic Stone Company.

Mr. Cobb is active in the Indianapolis business community and currently serves as a Director of the Indiana Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, where he was also a founding member. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Carmel Clay Public Library Foundation.

Mr. Cobb received his MBA from Harvard Business School and his bachelor's degree in economics, with honors, from DePauw University where he was selected for the Management Fellows Honors Program. Prior to joining CID, Mr. Cobb was a finance manager with Procter & Gamble where he held a variety of operational and financial roles, including finance responsibility for various Procter & Gamble Home Care brands, as well as new product initiatives in the U.S. Fabric Care category. At Procter & Gamble Mr. Cobb also held finance responsibility for the North American liquid fabric softener manufacturing operations, as well as various other roles involving financial analysis, accounting, and internal controls. Before joining Procter & Gamble, he worked in the Business Valuation Group of Deloitte & Touche where his responsibilities included valuing small and mid-cap private companies for transaction purposes.
