Atlantis Components, Inc. - Cambridge, MA

Atlantis Components, Inc., leader and innovator in the dental implant market, was acquired in 2007 by Astra Tech AB, the leading Swedish medical technology company, a subsidiary of AstraZeneca, for $71 million. This acquisition allows Atlantis to increase its market penetration of the dental market while further enhancing Astra Tech's ability to provide comprehensive solutions including digital dentistry needs.



Enterprise Systems, Inc. (ESI) - Wheeling, IL

In 1993 CID Capital invested in Enterprise Systems, Inc., a leading provider of hospital information systems which manage the central supply services and operational aspects of hospitals. In 1995, ESI completed a successful IPO, at which time CID Capital sold its shares of common stock. ESI eventually merged with HBOC and today is part of one of the largest pharmaceutical distributors in the US, McKesson Corporation.


HyperNex, Inc. - State College, PA

HyperNex is an equipment manufacturer that developed an X-ray diffraction analysis tool used by semiconductor manufacturers to increase yield and performance during the fabrication process. Hypernex was acquired by Nova Measuring Instruments, LTD (NASDAQ:NVMI), a market leader in integrated metrology and process control for the semiconductor industry in August 2006.


Imageware, Inc. - Ann Arbor, MI

Imageware, Inc. was a software company focused on the processing and analyzing of 3-D information received from various industrial sensor technologies. The Company's software served various markets: CAD/CAM applications (rapid prototyping and reverse engineering), entertainment and media markets. Imageware was acquired by SDRC in 1998.


Integral Technologies, Inc. - Indianapolis, IN

Integral Technologies, Inc. designs, manufactures and sells high performance image capture hardware and software. Integral developed an extremely successful, cost effective digital security system for widespread applications in retail, industrial and commercial settings. The Company was sold to Andover Technologies in 2000.


Kodeos Communications - South Plainfield, NJ

Kodeos Communications, a leading provider of 10-Gbits/sec next-generation optical transponders and subsystems, was acquired by Finisar Corporation (FNSR), a provider of optical subsystems and components. Kodeos acquired CID portfolio company Intersymbol Communications, Inc. in March, 2006, creating the premier developer of transponders and utilizing the best technology available from these two companies.


Lamina, Inc. - Westampton, NJ

Founded in 2001, Lamina Lighting has established itself as the market leader in the development and production of super-bright LED arrays. Headquartered in Westampton, New Jersey, Lamina produces the world’s brightest solid state light sources which produce enough light to be useful in general illumination applications. Lamina was acquired by Lighting Science Group Corporation.


LDMI, Inc. - Hamtramck, MI

LDMI's services include local and long distance phone service and data services such as high-speed connectivity, security, web hosting, and network services. The company was purchased by TalkAmerica, which has since been purchased by Cavalier Telephone & TV.


Maxim I/T - West Lafayette, IN

Maxim I/T is an innovative software solution company leading the effort in enabling seamless access to engineering and manufacturing data. Its groundbreaking software product, FindView, is revolutionizing the way companies unlock internally and externally stored data. As an enterprise information portal, FindView provides users a single gateway to access desired information required to make sound, well-informed business decisions. The company was purchased by Product Sight Corporation.


Midi, Inc. - Princeton, NJ

Midi is a leading provider of compliance and ethics on-line education and awareness solutions to corporate enterprises. Midi merged with Compliance and Ethics Learning Solutions, Inc. (CELS), a Chicago-based holding company created to target the compliance training sector. In 2007, CELS/MIDI was acquired by SAI Global Limited (ASX:SAI), a global provider of standards, compliance and business improvement solutions.


Radiate, Inc. - Mountain View, CA

Radiate originally focused on software advertising delivery technologies. In early 1998, after the acquisition of GizmoNet, Radiate refocused its strategy to assist Internet users to find and acquire digital content on the Internet. Radiate was acquired by Seattle-based Digital Candle, Inc. in 2002.


Renal Solutions, Inc. - Cranberry Twp., PA

Renal Solutions, a medical device company, developed a kidney dialysis system, the Allient, used for patients affected by End Stage Renal Disease or acute kidney failure. Renal Solutions products are designed to be used in both the hospital and home setting. The Company was acquired in November 2007 by Fresenius Medical Care AG for $190 million and will continue operations as a wholly owned subsidiary of Fresenius, the largest integrated global provider of dialysis products and services.


SciCor Inc. - Indianapolis, IN

SciCor was the first laboratory exclusively devoted to providing laboratory testing services and related data processing support to the US pharmaceutical industry. The research data generated by SciCor was used to prepare clinical submissions to the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) for approval to market new drugs. The Company grew very quickly and was sold to Corning, Inc. in 1991.


Sofamor Danek Group, Inc. - Memphis, TN

Sofamor Danek Group (SDG) designs, manufactures and markets advanced orthopedic products for the treatment of spinal injuries and diseases. CID Capital originally invested in Danek Group in 1989. The Company successfully completed an IPO in 1991 and completed an acquisition of European competitor Sofamor SA in 1993. The Company was acquired by Medtronic for over $3.6 billion.


Software Artistry, Inc. (SAI) - Indianapolis, IN

Software Artistry, Inc. developed proprietary computer software products based on artificial intelligence technology, which focused on Help Desk customer service software. CID Capital's original investment was made in 1990 and the Company completed a successful IPO in 1995. In 1998 SAI was purchased by Tivoli Systems Inc., a subsidiary of IBM Corp. and later by San Diego-based Peregrine Systems Inc.


Stereotaxis, Inc. (NASDAQ: STXS) - St. Louis, MO

Stereotaxis is a public medical device company that developed a technology employing external magnets to guide catheters within the body. The Company's technology is based on proprietary magnet design and state-of-the-art digital imaging equipment. The Company underwent a successful IPO in 2004.
